1. Our basic gates are still very nicely finished,
they are built differently using other materials
and this affects the cost.
- 2 x 4 Redwood Frame
- Fence grade boards for the slats
- Miter Joints on the corners of the frame
- These gate types are a bit lower budget

2. Custom Gates are built and installed with a few more details.
The quality of materials is a nice upgrade which helps with longevity and
to make each gate into a functional work of art.
- 2 x 6 Redwood Frame
- Fabrication is completely different
- The use of Lap Joints
at all the corners is a superior joint for strength and durability
- These gates use the redwood Tongue & Groove boards for slats which are interlocking
- This type of gate is very similar when you compare the front and back.
